Piran.. a shining pearl of the Adriatic Sea

Piran is a Slovenia’s pearl, tiny and lovely town with cobbled narrow streets, houses glued close together, numerous churches and  squares. Above the  town, on the very top of the hill, it rises the Church of St George, Piran’s patron. From here you have a breathtaking view over the town and the Adriatic sea.
You’ll find a beautiful deep blue sea to plunge in and delicious seafood that will make you drooling.
I’m so lucky because with just two hours driving I can find myself amid this paradise. Let’s have  look at Piran.

Luch at "Tri Vdove"

With its adorable view, this restaurant located next to the sea,  offers you tasty and fresh food. Have a look at what I’ve tasted.

Spending a few days in Caorle

As I am an Italian girl it’s my due to show you the beauties of my marvelous country. I want to start off with Caorle,   a small fishing town localized in the province of Venice.
The centre is lined with colored houses and historic gems like the Cathedral of Saint Stephen that was built in 1038 and the Church of the Blessed Virgin of the Angel . Many holidaymakers, especially from Austria (but not only), flock here to enjoy the sandy beaches, to do excursion to Venice ( it’s extremely easy to go to from Caorle), to catch a boat that can take people around a beautiful lagoon dotted with fishing huts, tiny islands and reed beds. Moreover,  you can taste delicious fresh fish, typical Italian specialties and  scrumptious ice-cream.

Delicacies from Budapest

If you decide to travel to Hungary you have to learn to like meat because Hungarians are big carnivores, but generally speaking the food is excellent and it's a pleasure for the sight too. In addition, with a recent lightened up, the dining scene offers dishes with less calories. So go ahead with meat, stews, soups, dumplings and so on. Here some pics I took roaming around Budapest.
