As I am an Italian girl it’s my due to show you the beauties of my marvelous country. I want to start off with Caorle,
a
small fishing town localized in the province of Venice.
The centre is lined with colored
houses and historic gems like the Cathedral of Saint Stephen that was built in
1038 and the Church of the Blessed Virgin of the Angel . Many holidaymakers, especially
from Austria (but not only), flock here to enjoy the sandy beaches, to do excursion to Venice
( it’s extremely easy to go to from Caorle), to catch a boat that can take
people around a beautiful lagoon dotted with fishing huts, tiny islands and reed
beds. Moreover, you can taste delicious fresh fish, typical Italian specialties
and scrumptious ice-cream.
