Manchester.. my wonderland

A piece of my heart is still in Manchester, the city in which I spent pretty much nine months of my life. My first idea was just stay over there two months but I ended up with nine long months in England.
I almost know the city inside out  because I’ve had loads of  time to wander around, here some pics I took..

Let’s get it started

Here we are with my new web adventure, I might be silly I don’t even know why  I need a blog but I was just looking for a place to express myself, my passions, my life and the things I like most... and I’ve  just found my own place.

Why “Backpack girl around the world”? that’s an easy answer:  the more I travel, the better I feel!
I’m fond of trips, I can’t do without  them, but this doesn’t always mean taking a plane and going far away from home; for instance,  I can be in my own town strolling around finding unexpected beauties, I can even travel to India just with one bite of my favorite Indian dish, I can travel with a book and find myself in five countries in one go.
A world to discover is everywhere.

Because  pictures speak louder than words I’m going to snap with my phone and camera  as much as I can. So let’s start with this diary of wanderlust, food,  fashion and much more.

Browsing on the internet I’ve found a poetry by Miroslav Holub that caught my attention, take a look:

Go and open the door.
Maybe outside there’s
a tree, or a wood,
a garden
or a magic city.

Go and open the door.
Maybe a dog’s running.
Maybe you’ll see a face,
or an eye,
or the picture of a picture.

Go and open the door.
If there’s a fog
it will clear

Go and open the door.
Even if there’s only the darkness ticking
Even if there’s only the hollow wind,
Even if nothing is there.

Go and open the door.
At least
there’ll be
a draught.

Aren’t these amazing words?  Sometimes we just need a pep talk, so let’s get our life wild and free.
